Monk Gems are essence gems which grants bonuses to Spirit. They come in four or five strengths — Flawed, Inferior, ordinary, Superior, and (in the PC version) Ultimate. The corresponding gems for the other two ability scores, Body and Mind, are called Warrior Gems and Scholar Gems, respectively.
Flawed Monk Gem[]
- In Two Rivers:
- One can be purchased from Smiling Mountain after emerging from Spirit Cave.
- One can be purchased from Fen Do after emerging from Spirit Cave.
- In Tien's Landing, one can be purchased from Merchant Cheung if players close the Great Dam.
- In the Great Southern Forest, one can be purchased from Spear Catches Leaf.
Inferior Monk Gem[]
- One can be purchased from Zin Bu.
- At Two Rivers School, one can be found in the caves.
- In the Necropolis, one can be purchased from Gravedigger Shen.
- At the Lotus Assassin Fortress, one can be purchased from Acolyte Trainer Guang.
Monk Gem[]
The ordinary Monk Gem can be purchased from Gravedigger Shen in the Necropolis.
Superior Monk Gem[]
- One is obtained after defeating Inquisitor Lim in Chapter 2.
- One can be purchased from Zin Bu after reaching Chapter 5.
Ultimate Monk Gem[]
The Ultimate Monk Gem can only be obtained in the in the PC version of the game. It is found in the Necropolis, on bones near the large gates to the Insane Emperor Ghost's tomb.
