Hui the Brave is a martial artist encountered by the Player at Tien's Landing. Hui is an old acquaintance of Sagacious Zu. Hui teaches the Spirit Thief style to the Player.
The Player meets her when she defends herself against bullying sailors outside the town's Teahouse. Once the sailors are defeated, Hui tells the Player that she was tasked by Master Li to find a piece of the Player's amulet and that she has tracked it to Tien's Landing (this begins Quest: Hui the Brave). She had been waiting for the Player for many years prior to the game's storyline and despite her admiration of Master Li, has become weary of such a long period of waiting in silence.
