Chan Tuo is the son of Miss Chan, who died with her in childbirth. It is not specifically stated how he died, but as his mother mentions that his face was blue, then it can be assumed that he suffocated, possibly choked by the umbilical cord.
He was named for his uncle, Tuo De, and buried in the Chan family plot within the Necropolis.
